Lentil soup to start, chicken enchiladas smothered in fresh tomato sauce, and an ice-cold lemonade. That's what makes you want to take a break for lunch. Choose your appetizer and your main course.

Today, Mexico is calling

Plantain fritters with cascabel chili sauce in the center. Next, black mole with chicken, rice, plantains, and blue corn tortillas to soak up the sauce. A nice, cold fresh lemonade, and to finish, a crispy guava fritter with piloncillo and cinnamon to share.

Guacamole, tacos, and flan

HOUSE guacamole as the main course. Next, shrimp tacos on flour tortillas or chicken tacos on corn tortillas. A fresh lemonade, mineral water, or cold beer to go with it. And Mexican cheese and vanilla flan, with caramel and berries, to finish.

Hot soup, with a crispy Caesar salad

First, roasted tomato soup. Next, a Caesar salad with chicken marinated in yogurt and lemon, crisp greens, and croutons. From the first spoonful to the last bite. To finish, an Illy Americano.

Today we're having a Mediterranean-style meal

Three-cheese rigatoni with shrimp. To start, a arugula salad with Serrano ham, pecorino, and grilled bread in the center. A table where we can pass the dishes around, taste them, and keep chatting.

Roast chicken, just the way you like it

Lentil soup or cream of tomato soup to start. Next, Rosemary Chicken: oven-roasted chicken with mustard and honey. Save room for the Lemon–Ricotta Cheesecake, made with yellow lemons, and a cup of coffee.

Shrimp, lemon, and a touch of chili

Hummus and grilled rustic bread in the center. Next, summer linguine with shrimp, preserved lemon, serrano chili, and fresh herbs. A nice cold Topo Chico on the side. One of those meals that makes it worth leaving the office.

A business lunch that doesn't have to feel formal

Across from the Palacio de Cortés, a garden set apart from the hustle and bustle of downtown, with quiet corners where you can chat in privacy. Our team is attentive to your table and your schedule, whether you’re heading back to work or staying for coffee.

We also offer ceviches to share, short ribs with plum sauce and celery-potato purée, Afghan rice with chicken stew, and homemade ravioli. Explore the menu and put together a meal however you like.

We're located at 110 Fray Bartolomé de las Casas, inside Las Casas B+B, across from the Palacio de Cortés, in Cuernavaca's Historic Center. HOUSE is open to the public; you don't need to be staying at the hotel to come eat here.

2. What are the lunch hours?

We serve food Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The last reservation on Sundays is at 6:00 p.m.

3. How much does the Lunch Special cost, and what does it include?

The Lunch Special costs $225 MXN per person and is available Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. It includes a starter of your choice—a starter portion of lentil soup or a green salad; a main course of your choice—pasta Bolognese, two vegetarian tacos, or three chicken enchiladas in fresh tomato sauce; and a still or sparkling lemonade.

4. What do you recommend ordering from the menu?

You can start with plantain gorditas or guacamole to share. Main dishes include mole negro with chicken, rice, plantain and blue-corn tortillas; shrimp tacos; Rosemary Chicken; and pasta with shrimp. For dessert, try the guava buñuelo or Mexican flan.

5. Is this a good place for a business lunch?

Yes. We have quiet corners in the garden and on the terrace where you can chat in greater privacy. When you make your reservation, please let us know how many people are coming and if you need to return to work by a certain time, so our team can coordinate your table service accordingly.

6. How can I make a reservation, and can I come without one?

We recommend making a reservation for weekends and large groups so we can have your table ready and welcome you with everything set up. If you arrive without a reservation, we’ll seat you based on availability. Coming with 10 or more? 7. Are there meat-free options or lighter meals?

You can choose hummus, salads, pasta pomodoro, or house-made ravioli with ricotta, mozzarella and spinach. For something more Mexican, try plantain gorditas, mushroom tacos or mole negro with portobello. Another pairing is roasted tomato soup with a Caprese salad. If you have any dietary restrictions, let us know when you book and when you order so our team can guide you on ingredients and preparation.

8. Do you offer valet parking?

Yes. The valet parking service is located at the entrance to Las Casas B+B, at 110 Fray Bartolomé de las Casas.
